The dynamic bass regulator on the subwoofer (bass expand) adjusts the intensity of the bass tones to the physiological properties of human
hearing depending on the volume. When playing movies, we recommend the „expand normal“ or „expand medium“ settings. When playing
audiophile stereo recordings, we recommend the „bypass“ setting.
The picture can be synchronized with the sound using lip sync in order to coordinate speech with delayed lip movements, for example. An
audio signal delay of 0 to 70ms can be selected.
To play 5.1 multi-channel recordings (DolbyDigital or DTS) through ZONE 2/LINE OUT, „dynamic“ must be set at „compressed“. The „full
dynamic“ position is recommended for „normal“ play back. This setting has no effect at the subwoofer output of the DM 90.
