You can determine under Output whether the lower pre-amplifier output on the back of the subwoofer is switched as Line Out (fixed volume

level for an analog recording device - only DM 1 and DM 2) or as Zone 2 (adjustable volume for an active multi-room system or wireless

loudspeaker system, for example). Instead of Line Out appears Subwoofer with the DM 90. This makes the connection of an additional active

subwoofer possible.

Room Compensation serves as a sound regulator. It is used to adjust the treble and bass tones of the satellites to the listening area. Here are a

few tips on this:

In severely acoustically dampened rooms – turn up the treble

In resonant rooms – turn down treble

In a freestanding position – turn up bass

When satellites are positioned close to a wall – turn down bass

Irrespective of all of this: let your own ear decide.
