If you press and hold the key marked « Sound » on the remote control for longer than 3 seconds you will enter the « Extended functions » menu and the

display « LIP » will appear on the Soundbar.

You can now use the Volume +/- keys to delay the playback in 10 ms steps.

Press the « Sound » key briey once more and the display sub will appear.

The Volume +/- keys can also be used to switch the output for an external subwoofer on or o. Please note: when the Sub-Out is activated the playback

of the Soundbar will be ltered at 80 Hz.

Press the « Sound » key again briey one more time and the display « EQ » will appear. Now use the Volume +/- keys to choose between three pre-set

equalizer settings to adjust the playback to suit the location.

EQ-1 for a free-standing SCA3 e.g. on a sideboard with a at-screen TV on the wall (factory setting).

EQ-2 for a set-up where a at-screen TV is positioned on top of the SCA3.

EQ-3 for a set-up where the SCA3 is in a rack or on a shelf.

Use now the Volume + / - buttons to choose between three preset equalizer and the playback site to be adjusted.

After pushing the „Sound“ button, the display jumps to the DRC. „„Dynamic Range Compression“ is a Dolby Laboratories setting.

When activated, the dynamic range for Dolby encoded streams can be automatically lowered, thereby reducing dierences in volume.

Doing so raises soft tonesand lowers loud.

Use the Volume + / - keys to set the DRC function can be switched on or o.

Exit menu Press and hold the « Sound » key again for longer than 3 seconds to exit the « Extended functions » menu.

If the Soundbar does not receive any input instruction from the remote control within a period of 30 seconds the menu navigation returns automatically

to normal mode.

Extended functions

The menu for extended sound functions oers you the chance to correct out-of-synch playback, to activate the output

for an external subwoofer and to adjust the playback to suit the selected location.

Das Menü für erweiterte Sound Funktionen bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit bei

nicht lippensynchroner Tonwiedergabe korrigierend einzugreifen, den Ausgang

für einen externen Subwoofer zu aktivieren und die Tonwiedergabe an den

gewählten Aufstellungsort anzupassen.

gedrückt, gelangen Sie in das Menü „Erweiterte

Funktionen“ und das Display im Soundbar springt

dergabe in Schritten von jeweils 10 ms verzögert

werden.

Nach erneutem kurzen drücken der „Sound“ Taste

springt das Display auf

Mit den Volume +/- Tasten kann der Ausgang für

einen externen Subwoofer ein bzw. ausgeschaltet

werden. Achtung, bei aktiviertem Sub-Out wird die

Tonwiedergabe des Soundbars bei 80 Hz begrenzt.

Drücken Sie ein weiteres Mal kurz die „Sound“

Taste springt das Display auf

Mit den Volume +/- Tasten kann jetzt zwischen

drei voreingestellten Equalizer-Presets gewählt und

die Wiedergabe an den Aufstellungsort angepasst

werden.

EQ-1

für ein frei aufgestelltes DM 50

z.B. auf einem Sideboard mit Flat-TV an

der Wand (Werkseinstellung).

EQ-2

für eine Aufstellung mit Flat-TV

auf dem DM 50 stehend.

EQ-3

für eine Aufstellung des DM 50

in einem Rack oder Regal.

Menü verlassen

Durch erneutes drücken der Sound Taste für länger

als 3 Sekunden können Sie das Menü „Erweiterte

Funktionen“ wieder verlassen.

Erhält der Soundbar für länger als 30 Sekunden

keinen Eingabebefehl von der Fernbedienung

springt die Menüführung automatisch in den

Normalmodus zurück.
